In November of 2011, JLMF embarked on a surgical mission to Salinas, Ecuador. The primary mission was to perform cleft lip/cleft palate and hand surgeries. Salinas is located on Ecuador's more southern seashore.  It is a major tourist area during this time of year with a beautiful beach and much to do. However, it also has a very poor sector where the needs are as great as any other part of Ecuador.
