Thanks again to all. Everyone made me feel accepted and useful.
I love to learn something new everyday and make new acquaintances wherever I go (just in case you didn't notice). I like to explore new terrain and see the sunrise and set in different places. I so enjoy learning new words in foreign languages and tasting unusual fruit and local foods. I will try SOMEONE'S home brew bought in the hardware store behind the counter. I will LISTEN to salsa music because I can and I will pretend to know how to dance just in case I don't get another opportunity. I love the smell of the coffee and the cocoa beans I had the privilege of helping roast. Hanging upside down flying through the Cloud Forrest.... OMG!
I loved realizing how we each had a very special gift to give these Ecuadorian people that Mark and his Judith loved so much. I am so proud to receive more in return... as love does make the world go round... in My world anyway! Thank you Mark, for sharing your dreams with us and your music.
I had no idea how much this trip could and would mean to me. I learned so much every day about myself and others. I love knowing that I helped make the world a little bit better for someone. I feel blessed and grateful that Dr. Jim gave me this privilege to travel with his group of very special and dear companions.
